Missy Hamilton
Business Manager

Missy started leasing in the property management industry during the summers while attending the University of Kentucky. Missy has worked at Waterford Place for 18 years and has had the opportunity to travel for the company training new associates. Missy loves spending time with her daughter and they are both avid roller coaster enthusiasts. They enjoy vacationing and plan to visit each state. Missy also enjoys hiking and tennis.

Patrick Nankivell
Leasing Consultant

Patrick has worked for Waterford Place Apartments for nearly ten years. Patrick started working at Waterford Place as a lifeguard in May 2000. He then worked part-time in the office from 2001-2006, when he started working full time as a leasing consultant. Patrick is a Dec. 2006 graduate from the University of Louisville with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Business. Patrick lives with his eleven year old dog, Murphy. In his free time Patrick enjoys spending time with friends, volunteer work, church, travel, and meeting new people. Patrick’s creed for life is “to live each day to the fullest, live life as if all we have is today, and to do everything with a positive attitude.”

Steve Mitchell

Steve has worked for Waterford Place Apartments for three years. Prior to coming to work in property management, Steve worked as a plumber both for himself and for Marvin Maeser. Steve’s wife Doris has three children and one grandchild. When not at work Steve enjoys going to thrift shops, collecting memorabilia, fixing up old cars, and boating.

Garrett Shadowen
Lifeguard

Garrett has worked for Waterford Place Apartments since Aug. 2000 as a lifeguard. Garrett is a certified pool operator, a certified American Red Cross water safety and CPR instructor. Garrett has been involved in aquatics for over eleven years. He is a passionate fan of University of Louisville football and basketball, and also a Cincinnati Bengals fan. Garrett is a student at Jefferson County Community College and a proud uncle of his four year old nephew.

Kelly Hesler
Lifeguard

Kelly has worked for Waterford Place Apartments since June 2009. Besides working as a lifeguard Kelly has been a barista for Starbucks and worked at the Garden Gate Fruit Market. Kelly is currently attending college at the University of Louisville, where she is studying Cultural Anthropology. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and learning new languages.
