A new Food Network article was recently published - titled 50 States, 50 Burgers – that stated that the best burger in Kentucky is made at none other than W.W. Cousins right here in Louisville. Now I love a cheeseburger just as much as the next guy, but I’ve never had the occasion to eat at W.W.’s. Have you? Here is how the article describes their masterpiece of a sandwich…
W.W. Cousins 900 Dupont Rd., Louisville “Hamburger” Some people can’t have enough options. This Louisville landmark is for them: At the center of the restaurant is a 40-item burger toppings bar that’s so complex, there’s a map above it to guide you to the tartar sauce, sliced green olives, parmesan and whatever else suits your fancy.
Well, what do you say Waterford Place? Does W.W. Cousin’s really have the best burger in the entire state of Kentucky? Surely there must be some other contenders out there.

You may already know that one-third of the world’s bourbon comes from Louiville, and that all of the official bats that are used by MLB are made here. But did you also know that 90 percent of the disco balls sold in the United States are made here? I didn’t. A guy can definitely learn a lot of interesting facts while surfing the Internet.
The company that produces them, National Products, Inc., actually specializes in making wood kitchen cabinets and related products.
So the next time that you’re out at the club “shaking what your momma gave ya,” look proudly into the air at the sparkling lights and know that Louisville is definitely “in the house!”

George Clooney organized the “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon, which is set to start tonight at 8 p.m., but says celebrities are not the main focus. And he’s right. It’s great that celebrities are lending their talents to the efforts, but it doesn’t overshadow the need of relief in Haiti. After the earthquakes last week, officials are estimating 200,000 people are dead and another 1.5 million homeless. The two-hour telethon will be aired on several networks and all money collected will be put towards relief in Haiti.
